Hi, I’m Sophia.

I am a graduating senior at Manhasset High School, Class of 2024.

Throughout my academic journey, I participated in a wide array of activities that supported my many interests. I am a Cross Country runner, a passionate artist, and a member of multiple clubs that offer an avenue for personal growth and expanded knowledge.

In addition, I have taken the initiative to make a positive impact on my community. I spearheaded a pen pal initiative during COVID that forged connections between students and senior citizens. I used my love of baking and collaborated with friends, neighbors, and classmates to bake cookies for my local food pantry. I created a pollinator garden and educated children about the critical role of pollinating plants in safeguarding the habitats of insects and other vital creatures. This initiative served as my project to achieve the Girl Scout Gold Award.

I am looking forward to studying Art and Design in college, and eventually, I would like to pursue a career in industrial design.
